I would like to ask whether Mac OS X kernel (Darwin 7.5) supports this IP option (in IPv4)? I can see the option's number is already defined in ip.h. But, I'm not so sure because it's not implemented yet in FreeBSD and the man pages of the IP options inside my PowerBook G4 only contain Record Route, Source Route and TimeStamp.
