Re: [OT] How can I tell Project Builder to let me use vi as an editor?
Perhaps this would be better if this wasn't on the kernel list? Anyways, I get around this with a tiny wrapper application that opens any file in gvim. So I set my preferred editor to this Cocoa app and then everything opens in gVim like I expected. It's definitely just a hack, and I'd rather a more robust solution, but it does work. Looking at: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/DeveloperTools/ ProjectBuilder/ProjectBuilder.help/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/ Files/chapter_6_section_4.html After clicking on Preferences in the Project Builder, I found the File Types setup menu, but do not see vi as an option. I am sure the solutions is easy, and would appreciate help. Thank you.
