site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: darwin-kernel@lists.apple.com Hi Bruce, dtrace does not work with kexts. I filed a bug report on this last year with the number 5580277. It was closed because it is a duplicate of 4648477. You might also file a bug report. Maybe this gets implemented in a future version if enough people want it... Darwin-kernel mailing list (Darwin-kernel@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/darwin-kernel/site_archiver%40lists.a... Can I currently use dtrace on OSX to investigate my kexts, either entry/return, or with static probes? I came away from WWDC believing "yes" but, after trying for a while and after reading a few (older, but still post-Leopard release) posts here, I'm now thinking "no". Could someone please confirm this for me? If dtrace can be used, could you please point me to any relevant documentation/examples/ anything?
