The compiler is gcc/g++, and this is a good list for questions about compiler problems (perhaps darwin-dev is better). Xcode is an IDE. Check <http://lists.apple.com> for the exact list name. There's a link to a list of hosted lists.
I got a panic crash when doing some debugging and after restarting my machine the project will not open. I keep getting an 'Error" stating that "couldn't open /myproject.xcode. Reason: XML parser error: Unexpected character I at line 1.
