OF boot experts please!
Hello, Ok so booting from OF must be one of the most common questions. I've seen lots suggestions by searching the archives but I haven't seen anyone with answers for my particular problem---I'm rooted on UFS! My OF variables: boot-device = mac-io/ata-4@1f000/@0,10,\\:tbxi boot-file = My Partitions: 9: Mac OS 9.2 on Apple_HFS 10: BootX on Apple_Boot 11: / on Apple_UFS I've tried variously setting boot-file to: hd:10,\mach_kernel.new hd:10,mach_kernel.new hd:11,\mach_kernel.new hd:11,mach_kernel.new (In this case hd is mac-io/ata-4@1f000/@0 All to no avail. I suspect that there is some trick when you're rooted on UFS. Does anyone know the secret?
