Hi there,
Provided that both FreeBSD and Solaris support Linux binaries compatibility, thru the use of kernel modules and ELF binary support, would it be possible to implement this feature in Mac OS X on x86 platform, and, if yes, at which cost/effort ?
Thanks for your replies.
Are you asking for people to bid on doing this for you? Of course, it is possible to implement Linux binary compatibility on MacOS X for Intel [given infinite resources and time]. It's a non-trivial task, and likely only really useful for the more technical end-user [as the applications wouldn't get to use all that Aqua goodness]. It's impossible for other people to tell you how long it would take you to do this.
