Oh hmm, better to wait then for multi-mount support?
I can’t really offer advice on this front, because such advice would be predicated on having a timeline for FSKit advancements, and we’ve not published such a timeline. The only thing I’ll specifically recommend is that you at least play with FSKit. That has a couple of benefits: * It’ll allow you to familiarise yourself with the technology. * If you spot something missing, you can file an enhancement request [1] for it. With regards the latter, I’m not really talking about big picture features, like support for non-unitary file systems, network file system, fully abstract file systems, and so on. Rather, look at the scope of what /is/ currently supported by FSKit to see if there’s anything that’s unique to your file system that’s currently missing. Perhaps your file system has unique metadata support, or needs to do something weird on the data path, or whatever. Oh, and for those following along, if you have questions about FSKit then I recommend you put them on Apple Developer Forums. That way I can rope in help from various colleagues. <https://developer.apple.com/forums/> Specifically, use the App & System Services > Core OS subtopic and the “FSKit” tag. <https://developer.apple.com/forums/topics/app-and-system-services/app-and-system-services-core-os> Share and Enjoy -- Quinn “The Eskimo!” <http://developer.apple.com/> Apple Worldwide Developer Relations, Developer Technical Support [1] <https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/712889> _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
