But I may not use Screen-Shot techniques. We are hooking private draw apis on other system and are fetching information about all the drawing activities going on in the system and storing them. I need to same on mac. If there's no supported mechanism for achieving this goal, then probably kext could be solution to it. There's no supported mechanism for achieving this goal. Moreover, I can't think of any mechanism that's likely to be even remotely reliable, or have any hope of long-term binary compatibility. What's your high-level goal here? If it's some sort of screen sharing, that's possible using CG APIs. Beyond that, I'd need to know some specifics before I could comment as to whether there might be an alternative possibilities.
