The device I'm trying to set it to is an iPod, but it's got Tiger installed on it, and it does indeed boot from it when I use the system preferences panel. The Lock is set (closed) in System Utilities, so I have to click on it and enter my password. I tried unlocking it before using bless but no joy. I think this may be the problem but I'm not sure.
