Strange, there is such an option in the Yukon and Yukon2 drivers in 10.4.11: % grep RxRingSize /System/Library/Extensions//IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleYukon*.kext/Contents/Info.plist | wc -l 15 You may want to check to see if link level flow control is enabled on your switch, and on the sender. You can tell if the mac has negotiated it via ifconfig: # ifconfig en0 | grep active media: autoselect (100baseTX <full-duplex,flow-control>) status: active You also might want to check to see how many mbuf / cluster allocation failurs have happened via netstat -m. Last, to be certain nothing is dropped in the host, check netstat -spudp and look for drops due to full socket buffers.
