Re: kext debugging in Lion broken?

I could not say for sure, but I doubt Ethernet Kernel Debugging works any better or worse than in any version of OS X. It has always been tricky.
Personally, I do not see the need for Ethernet debugging when Firewire Debugging is available
How about the odds of two computers having connectivity via Ethernet is about 1000x greater than being connected via Firewire? Why run an extra cable if you don't need to? (That may not even be possible in some circumstances). I can't speak for ethernet kernel debugging being "tricky" - all I can say is that the three or four pairs of systems I set up to do it have always worked fine, out of the box. I haven't done it on Lion yet, though. --Ken _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
