Hi Mike, I know It's not/or not not related directly to the kernel, but it's a bit uncomplete to fill a bug and I prefer post here because I think it makes sense for few people who have suscribed to this list, and sure it could be material related (battery 4 month plug/unplug from 100 to zero), before posting I searched in the bug DB but I didnt find something related to this problem, therefore, I observed the problem since the 10.5.2 update but I can't guarantee that this problem is related to this update.
Posting here is not useful; this is a developer forum, not a tech support forum.
First it was "I guess it's ACPI related", which is grounds for a bug report to Apple.
Now it's "it could be material related", which is grounds for a call to Applecare.
yep It's a fondamental way when you discuss, (also the meaning of life), no matter, first, I dismissed the idea of a hardware problem because it is almost new
If you just want to complain about your machine, there are other forums (I personally recommend ArsTechnica) where you might find a sympathetic audience.
It's not a complain and I don't care to cry, I don't search technical support, I asked for an advice, if someone observed the same thing and can confirm or not that,s a software bug or something else.. not to argue Thank you
Not darwin-dev.

since the 10.5.2 update, I m not sure, when the battery is empty to 0% and you plug the ac connector the battery doesn't charge you can let it 12 mins (my tests) the status stays at "battery is not charging" with a green led, Ive tested 4 times, you have to plug and replug the ac connector to update the status so I guess it's ACPI related
This is not a forum for reporting bugs, especially bugs that aren't related to the Darwin kernel.
Please report bugs with Apple software or hardware via the supported, Apple-maintained and Apple-monitored facility at bugreporter.apple.com.
