site_archiver(a)lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev(a)lists.apple.com Simply adding our company's folder (with correct permissions) to the Files for my plug-in's Component seems to have resolved the problem nicely. There are cases where you do have to, but I believe this is not one of them. But: You should never do anything in a postflight script that could be accomplished by simply delivering a payload. Why? Payloads can be installed to volumes other than the current startup volume. Postflight scripts often get this wrong. There's no Library under Volumes (unless you called one of your mounted volumes "Volumes"). If you mean something like "Volumes/MyHardDrive/Library/Application Support", then that's the same folder I'm talking about when I refer to "/Library/Application Support".
