Hi Vishnu, If the "Require admin authentication" option is checked in PackageMaker (under Configuration tab), shouldn't need to use sudo. add localized readme, license etc. in a distribution package using productbuild

(sorry, crossposted because sent by mistake to the xcode list) Hi, All I'm trying to build a product using buildproduct. The doc states that I can add resources using --resources, but this option does not seem to have any effect. productbuild --package myPackage.pkg --resources /tmp/Resources test.pkg builds test.pkg without resources. The "Distribution Definition XML Schema Reference" also states that I can choose a readme or license file, but does not tell me how I can localize it. Does anyone know how I can do? Hi, We are using Sudo command in Script to trash the app before installing the new one. However I believe Sudo command needs admin password to proceed further. The Script which is being used has 2 criteria 1) To kill the app if it's running. 2) To trash the app from applications and then go ahead with the installation. To trash the app we are using Sudo Rm- R and full path of the app. Is it advisible to use Sudo command inside the script?
