Installer plugins only work in GUI context, not when you call installer on the command line. Help with Installation-check

Help! I'm running in circles here and could use some input. I am needing to create an installation-check in a flat package. I've created my script (see below) and it runs correctly. However once I place it inside the Resources folder in the package and add it the coding to Distribution, it fails. What am I doing wrong? What is the PostUpgrade Script in this case? Is this a step of the standard installation process or is it your post-installation script? AFAIK, scripts embedded in a flat distribution are only supported on Mac OS X 10.6 and later. So if your OS requirements are Mac OS X 10.6 or later, it is supported. The scripts should end up in a Scripts archive at the same level as the Resources folder in the .pkg archive. Distribution Resources xx.lproj Scripts mypackage1.pkg So Resources may not be the folder where the script should be put for productbuild (I can't be sure, I don't use this tool).
