The installation completes and my kext and its associated application works just fine, BUT, during installation I get an error dialog saying that the kext was "impropery installed". What might induce that, since obviously it has installed correctly ? I'm on 10.6 and the kext is a virtual audio device that upon installation has no active audio engine (i.e. no audio device is shown in Audio MIDI setup). The engines are created via a device specific user client object (when the associated application is started). Ideas ?
