Hi All,
I have been trying to Package MS Office with latest updates. I can package the software with all the updates but when I install the package the Icon for Micorosft office 2011 in the Applications folder is not the same provided by microsoft. It turns to the default Blue Folder icon. Any ideas to resolve this?
I'm just lurking here, no experience with packaging, I use VISE X - but did you try something as obvious as extracting the MS folder icons into an .icns file (or locating the .icns file, if it already exists), and then installing that custom icon into the folder during installation? I install my own apps into folders with custom icons...it works... I don't see why you couldn't install the MS.icns into a folder, as a separate step. You can also do that with command line. - Stephen =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Stephen Kay Karma-Lab :: developers of KARMA http://www.karma-lab.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
