Hi, I had a similar query and it seems that if the package is Leopard only, it will be added to the installer package database. Otherwise, it will go into /Library/Receipts. -----Original Message----- From: installer-dev-bounces+david.glover=prometheanworld.com@lists.apple.com [mailto:installer-dev-bounces+david.glover=prometheanworld.com@lists.app le.com] On Behalf Of Fosse Sent: 27 February 2008 02:44 To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com Subject: How to make Installer find installed location when do upgrade andIFPkgFlagRelocatable is set to true I create two disk images which all set "relocation" to TRUE. One is Ver1 and another is Ver2. When I installed the Ver1, I change the install destination to other folder but not default location. I want Ver2 can do upgrade for Ver1. But if I don't change folder to the location specified for Ver1 manually when I install Ver2, Installer will install it to the default location. Is it possible that installer to find the location automatically? for example by receipt DB? In addition, When I installed my packages, they will be copied into / Library/Receipts/. When I search using pkgutil, I don't found any information of my packages but only apple's packages. What's wrong with the package?
