I mean if we consider that a choice state is dependent on the states of other choices, why would the start state not be ruled by the same rule as it is when the user selects or unselect a choice? - How should the Visible attribute be considered? From an Apple (pre OS X) point of view or from a NeXT point of view? The Apple point of view would be that depending on weather conditions, a choice can be made invisible dynamically. This was the case for Menus in the Menu Bar. The NeXT point of view is that everything should always be visible and if it's not appropriate in the context, then the choice should just be disabled.
