Setting image background for dmg in leopard and mounting it in
snowleopard will result in a backgroundless view.
Applicable for viceversa also(snowleopard->leopard).
Is there any trick to create such a dmg with image background which

That's why I pointed out DMG Canvas earlier. In their Preferences they have the 'Apply Leopard Compatibility' checkbox. So there must be a way to do this otherwise also because this program can do it. If you get I think version 2.0.1, the free trial won't ever expire. For me though this program is worth the $15 for everything it does. Plus Araelium answers their support emails and has fixed or given support to every problem that I have had so far with the program.
