That is, the user has to restart from the installer, launch the app by double-clicking one of our files, suffer through "first run", and then restart again. So my question is can we launch the app from our installer package when it is run so as to dispense with the "first run" dialog PITA during the installation process? I don't remember where I've read that and don't remember the solution but it was something related to extended attributes that you had to modify after installation is completed. BTW, I'm using Xcode 3.0/ 10.5.3. I haven't used PackageMaker.app since about 10.3. I like the new interface design but the app seems to have a few problems retaining my settings and crashed a few times. Are there any known issues you can clue me in on?
