The languages are supported by the OS. When I change the regional settings to French Canadian through preferences the EULA appears in French Canadian. Also the older bundle-based installer works fine for these languages when the user select any of these in the EULA screen during installation. The problem with new flat installer is when the user selects these languages in the dropdown on EULA screen during installation the EULA appears in the language set through OS preferences unlike in the old bundle installer. -----Original Message----- From: Stephane Sudre <dev.iceberg@gmail.com> Sender: installer-dev-bounces+sbhola=quark.com@lists.apple.com Date: Thu, 05 Jul 2012 16:14:02 To: <installer-dev@lists.apple.com> Subject: Re: Localized resources not being picked for some language duringinstallation On Thu, Jul 5, 2012 at 3:16 PM, <sbhola@quark.com> wrote:
Both Snow Leopard and Lion. The strange thing is that the old bundle-based installer shows the EULA properly in these languages.
For new flat installer I also noticed that the EULA for these 2 languages is displayed in the language of the OS.
I'm wondering whether this is not related to the fact that the fr_CA and pt_BR localizations are not available in the OS. Among your other 18 localizations that work correctly, is there any that is a language not supported by the OS? _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
