I assumed it would since prior I was installing some of those files with the installer for testing and they would be all updated so my guess was if they weren't there the installer would just install an empty folder. Thanks! On Tue, Oct 31, 2017 at 1:07 PM, Greg Neagle < greg.neagle@disneyanimation.com> wrote:

Hello,
Apologies if this has been asked before, it's hard to search on this site and Google or the user guide didn't provide any help.
I'm building an installer using Packages where it creates a folder in /Library/Application Support/MyCompany/*MyApp* and sets read/write permissions (as well as the app itself in the Applications folder).
When the actual app is run it auto-generates files in that "MyApp" folder.
How can I make it so next time I run the installer (with an updated app) the folder "MyApp" don't get wiped clean?
It won't wipe it clean. Have you tried this?
Thanks for your help. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
