Hi Bill, We've always removed the previous version, citing undesired merges. In some environments where users have admin rights, they might tinker with /Applications/Firefox.app so if we don't first find/kill/remove the application, we've run into problems. Deferring to your installer developer guru-ness, just curious what problems might happen if the removed apps are designed by the developer to be drag-installed?
