So, unless and until this issue is fixed, do I have to write a postinstall script to force the Finder to update? Can anybody tell me off the top of your head how to do this in a shell script?
I'm thinking of a postinstall script something like this: osascript -e "tell application \"Finder\" to update POSIX file \"<fullpath>\"" Is there a way to do that without resorting to AppleScript? I suspect not. -- Bill Cheeseman - bill@cheeseman.name Quechee Software, Quechee, Vermont, USA www.quecheesoftware.com PreFab Software - www.prefabsoftware.com _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
