We have 3 versions of Portuguese in our installers. The problem is only for Brazilian Portuguese and the other two are working just fine
* pt.lproj for Portuguese
* pt_PT for Portuguese (Portugal)
* pt_BR for Portuguese (Brazil)
Have you tried using hyphen, instead of underscore, as the separator? So "pt-BR", instead of "pt_BR".
