Toast can indeed make a hybrid CD. I use it about weekly to make Solutions CDs for Iomega. If you have Toast 8, enable the Show Legacy Formats and Settings checkbox in the general preferences. You will now see Custom Hybrid in the Data section. I start by making a .dmg of my Mac side with the image set to auto open, custom folder background, etc. I add the stuff from my PC side by clicking the Select ISO button (get rid of all the OS X “stuff” first, like .DS_Store files, etc.). Then, click the Select Mac button and find your mounted disk image. I create a disc image first. That becomes the ISO file sent to the duplicating houses. Then, I burn. Here’s a great link: http://www.davidseah.com/blog/creating-a-hybrid-cd-rom-with-toast-7/ It's even easier in Toast 8. You can just do that with Drag and drop (and it's also clever enough to remove .DS_Store). If it was possible to save the settings in this case (.dmg and PC files), it would avoir redefining the components every time. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
