site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com -pmb I've experienced this problem also. I've noticed two things... If I just kill the process, the package seems to be OK. If I run PackageMaker a second time, it usually completes. Unlike Bob, I have no "deep" paths in my packages. I have an application that needs to have some application framework files in the bundle. When I try to build the installer, Package Maker never finishes. (I let in run from one full hour). If I remove two of the folders inside the bundle, the installer builds in seconds. Both of the folders I remove have folder paths that run deep. For example: Contents/Resources/framework/Versions/A/Resources/info.plist Contents/Frameworks/LicenseFramework/Versions/A/Resources/ English.lproj/info.plist.strings Does anyone have any ideas about this? Also, if someone can run 'sample <pid> 10' and attach that to the bug report, it'd be very useful.
