User-agent: Microsoft-Entourage/12.12.0.080729 Hello all, I am having a very strange problem with running PackageMaker 3.0.2 involving a postinstall script. When I run PackageMaker from the command line with: /Developer/usr/bin/packagemaker -r /pkg_base_engine -o /pkg_scratch/engine.pkg -i com.company.product -n ${BUILDVERSION} -t "Product Engine" -l /Applications/product/Engine -s /build_base/scripts/ -e /build_base/resources -g 10.5 -h system -b and then check the results with Pacifist, I find that PM had included the wrong postinstall script in the package. In fact, it includes one which is not on the machine! I am stumped! Here is the content of /build_base/scripts/: -rwxr-xr-x 1 build staff 748 Oct 7 11:35 postinstall* Yet, here is what is included in my package according to Pacifist: postflight.sh 748 bytes build wheel -rwxr-xr-x 10/7/08 Now here is the funny part (and not funny 'ha-ha') postflight.sh does not exist on this machine (the machine from which the package is being created) either through spotlight or through locate! I am truly stumped, but am pretty sure that when I get over this, my postflight script will work.... Hope I haven't jinxed myself. TIA, Steve O'Sullivan _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
