I am working on developing an installer plugin that allows files in an external RAR file to be unpackaged. I have no experience of Objective-C but I am an experienced C/C++ developer so I would like to do the majority of the development work in C++. Can anyone tell me if this is possible please? I would also be interested to know if there is a simpler way to achieve what I am trying to do without resorting to opening up terminal windows. I assume that if the user has already entered an administrator password into the installer in order to install the files from the pkg file then my plugin would run with administrator rights as well and would not need to request an additional password.
