site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com Hi all, we've got AudioUnit plug-ins that write files that need to be accessible by all users, and have always put them in /Library/Application Support/Antares/..., but in Lion, our plug-ins are not able to write under Application Support unless the user first changes the permissions to allow Admin to have Read/Write access to that folder. Is there a way our Iceberg-based installers can modify the permissions on that folder? Or, is there a new location under Lion for all-user application files? (And if so, how would our plug-ins know they were running under Lion and be able to access the "correct" location?)
