PackageMaker/IceBerg - build failed / insufficient privilieges
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com User-agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 (Windows/20041206) Hi list, I'm new to MacOS but I'd like to get to know this system a bit more. To my problem... I actually prefer Iceberg for creating pkgs. I've tried with PackageMaker and Iceberg both started with the user root... but I just can't figure it out... Maybe someone here can help? Please? Thanks So long KriS _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored. I have programmed some software, which is located in /usr/local/foobar No /usr/local/foobar has many Sub-folders..and files. Some files have and need other user/group privilieges. Most Files belong to "root" and group "wheel" Now some files really need to be owned by the user nobody. So I changed the rights to the user "nobody" but now the Package wont build. The problem is the above which is the PackageMaker nor Iceberg doesn't like the files I changed the user on. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
