Re: Lion permissions problem in /Library/Application Support
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com That sounds like a good plan, Greg. You wouldn't happen to know how I would do that in Iceberg, would you? Thanks, Howard On Dec 13, 2011, at 4:45 PM, Greg Neagle wrote:
Since this is the installer-dev list, why doesn't your plugin's Installer package create /Library/Application Support/Antares and set it to wordl-writable if that's what you want/need?

Huh? There's no Library under Volumes (unless you called one of your mounted volumes "Volumes").
If you mean something like "Volumes/MyHardDrive/Library/Application Support", then that's the same folder I'm talking about when I refer to "/Library/Application Support". And under Lion, it's permissions do not allow the group (or everyone) to write, which prevents my plug-in from creating the Antares folder there.
