I'm sure Stéphane won't "toot his own horn," but his website ( http://s.sudre.free.fr/Stuff/PackageMaker_Howto.html) Is a great source of info - including the fact that documents need to be in .rtf, .txt, or HTML formats, and named specifically. [...] Unfortunately, this document is out-dated for the most recent version of PackageMaker as it describes only version 1.something. Version 2 which is available with Xcode 2.something has an on-line help as explained by Jack R. You can click the lower left (?) button in the main window (there's none in the stand-alone "Interface window" which is kind of ...) to access this information directly. You don't have to worry about the name of the document, PackageMaker will rename it to the appropriate name during the build.
Does anyone have any info on some real documentation on versions 2 & 3?
Something in addition to the Software Delivery Guide which is extremely
general? ie - in version 2 for the read me you cannot copy and paste into
the field - but the documentation doesn't tell you what type of file it
needs to be to be included (tried both Word and Text and neither can be
selected). I'm new to PackageMaker and need some detailed documentation to
work with!
