This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com We're testing a new flat package installer built with Packages 1.1 and one user has reported that the standard "success" summary is intermittently being displayed instead of the custom one I've set up. He's on 10.7.4 with Installer 5.0.1. It's not related to localization since he's not changing user accounts. Sometimes the custom message is displayed and sometimes it isn't. I don't see a pattern and the only line in install.log is "Displaying 'Install Succeeded UI'" in either case. Is this just Installer quirkiness or is there something in the design of how it works that I'm overlooking?
