But, why not just change the package so it requires root to run? On 7/24/08 Thursday, July 24, 2008 -1:39 PM, "Robert Kukuchka" <rob.kukuchka@mac.com> wrote:
Can anyone detail how to properly setup a packagemaker file such that it will remember how to properly install kexts? I setup the permissions of the files in PM, only to load the file later and see that they're all changed back to $ME:admin with 700 privs. It's quite frustrating. If I change the permissions of the source files then PM complains about the privs when trying to build. What am I missing? I could use a script with SUDO but I'd like a "cleaner" solution.
