Some time ago we made an installer using Stéphane Sudre (Wonderfull) Packages: http://s.sudre.free.fr/Software/Packages/about.html We have noticed some of our installations could cause some errors due Firefox/Thunderbird running while installing. Thats the reason i would like to show a warning to the user saying something like: "The installer has detected Firefox/Thunderbird are running in your computer. Close them and press Retry, or press Cancel to cancel the installation." (With the proper Retry-Cancel buttons). Considering i have no idea of Cocoa/whatever other UI in OSX, how can i achieve this? I know i can run an script on InstallationCheck or preFlight scripts, but how could i show a pretty dialog asking the user? Is this feature built-in in Packages/OSX .(m)pkg? Thaks a lot and have a nice day! _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
