I always wondered the same thing. Once in a while I find a proper pkg installer that offers the option to install or uninstall. Not sure if a pkg installer like this is "pushable" via ARD, but for those rare cases where we need to equip our Helpdesk folks to uninstall something, this ability would come in handy.
