Re: Can I force a restart after install from a command line build package?
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: installer-dev@lists.apple.com User-agent: Thunderbird 2.0.0.17 (Macintosh/20080914) John Brisbin Good afternoon all, I am resubmitting this question in the hopes that some more people may get a gander at it. I have been googling and looking at the man pages, but have not found any kind of answer through those methods. Thanks for any and all assistance! I am building a package from the command line, without using a pmdoc. I am using PackageMaker 3.0.2. Is it possible for me to configure the resulting package to force a restart at the end of the installation process when building the package from the command line? Thanks for any and all assistance! The way that I deal with this is to use the PackageMaker GUI to create an installer with the settings I want (including restart.) From it, I extract the plist file that has those settings and which is known to be syntactically correct. I then adjust fields as necessary and use the result as the plist input to the command line operation. OSullivan, Steve wrote: This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
