There's a difference between allowing the user to relocate install location and telling the installer which locations to search for upgrading. When generating 10.4 compatible packages on 10.5, packagemaker has a very strange location search by default (which some people view as a bug). fla.
Hi François, thanks for that, and apologies for cluttering the list by not seeing the archive result when I searched. That does indeed address my problem, and is good enough that I can get on to other things. BTW I do consider that behaviour a bug so will raise it later - has anyone on the list already raised one that I should reference?
