Greetings,
We have a user reporting that the Install button in our Packagemaker installer does nothing. Normally, this button pops up a dialog requesting administrator credentials. In this user's case, nothing happens. The button is not greyed out, it simply does not work. The user is running Mac OS X 10.7.1. We have been unable to reproduce the issue on our machine running Mac OS X 10.7.1. We do not run any custom scripts in the installer. The installer log from the user's machine is as follows:

The log does not appear to contain any errors. Our installer can be downloaded here:

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is there any additional information that I should collect from the user? Thank-you for your time.
On the 10.7.1++ system I tried it on, the authentication dialog appears when you click on the Install button (both for an admin and standard user) whatever destination you select. It could be a sandbox issue (there are debug logs in Lion about the sandbox not being happy with Installer.app). It might be interesting to check the system.log file and the console log. BTW, it might be a good idea to only show the standard installation mode (no customization) because the list is a bit scary for an end-user. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
