Hi, I have an application, which is bundled in some Package. Lets say MyApp.pkg. Now, I need to restrict the user not to allow installing the application on other non-Macintosh volumes during MyApp.Pkg installation. i.e Lets say I have 2 volumes a) Macintosh- where I have Snow Leopard got installed. b) Movies- which has movies data. Now during the application installation, if the user selects “Movies” volume, the installation shouldn’t be continued further. Should show some alert or some message to the user that you cant’ install on this Volume.
I saw, iTunes is working/checking in that way.
Please help me out of this issue.
If by the Macintosh Volume, you mean the Startup Disk, you just need to allow the package to install only on the root volume. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
