I'm using productbuild to create an archive, and I'd like to point the distribution to my welcome file, which is in .rtfd format. This used to be possible using PackageMaker, but I'm getting "Bad file descriptor" errors when I try it using productbuild. It seems like productbuild isn't recognizing the file type, or maybe it's just expecting a single file instead of a .rtfd, which is really a directory. I've tried setting mime-type="text/rtf" and also uti="com.apple.rtfd", but each attempt resulted in the same error. Is it possible to use a .rtfd file with productbuild, and if so, how do you describe it in the distribution file?
