Installer-dev mailing list (Installer-dev@lists.apple.com) Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription: http://lists.apple.com/mailman/options/installer-dev/site_archiver%40lists.a... i'd like to replace an applescript installer that we've been using. here's what our installer does now... locates fmp8 thru 9 reg/adv simply by looking for... /applications/filemaker pro 8 /applications/filemaker pro 8 Advanced /applications/filemaker pro 8.5 /applications/filemaker pro 8.5 Advanced /applications/filemaker pro 9 /applications/filemaker pro 9 advanced install filemaker plugins (replace older versions) for each rev found into [app]/Extensions place folder in /Application directory -but- if folder exists, rename existing .fp7 files to .bak.fp7 places some files into /Application directory (replace is fine) it works great unless the user is logged in without privs to / applications i've downloaded iceberg, and it works great to copy a folder to / applications, but i'm not sure how the whole "postflight" script is supposed to work.
