I want to generate a install package which support downgrade, following is the steps I did: 2. Set the package version to " 2.2.2" and generate package test.pkg, copy to folder A. 3. Set the package version to "2.1.0" and generate package test.pkg, copy to folder B. 5. Install test.pkg in folder B, because I have selected "revert to previous version" I expected test.pkg in folder B can be installed, but I got error message: All package contains the same application and the application has the same version.plist Anyone knows why this happened? I tend to believe this is a bug in Mac OS X 10.4.11. Some people reported this issue for a package I have to support. The only possible workaround was to remove the receipt for the package.
