As far as I've been able to tell, the receipt name is only determined by the name of the folder that your source files are in. As far as I've been able to figure out, there is no way to change the receipt name (including edits in raw mode), except by changing the name of your folder - but I could be wrong. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Iceberg-Dev" <dev.iceberg@gmail.com> To: "Brant Sears" <brant@mac.com> Cc: <installer-dev@lists.apple.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 02, 2009 2:33 PM Subject: Re: How to specify name of my receipts? I'm installing some things to various directories under /Library such as a LaunchAgent. The installer creates a receipt called "library.pkg". I'm trying to figure out where in PackageMaker I should specify the name of the receipt. Any ideas? I've tried changing the choice name. IIRC, PackageMaker creates the name from the name of the files included. You can not change it without editing the project in raw mode or the project XML file with a text editor.
