When I download the disk image using Safari, the PackageMaker installer is automatically launched. Does anyone know how I can prevent it from automatically being launched? (I noticed that the PackageMaker installer is not automatically launched if I simply open the disk image with out downloading it immediately beforehand.) Yesterday, the PackageMaker installer was not automatically launched. The only thing I changed was that I removed a readMe file from the disk image. Is there logic in Safari or the disk image that causes the PackageMaker installer to be automatically launched when there is only one file on the disk image? Is that a bug? But it doesn't sound like your disk image is being ejected and moved to the trash, so it's more likely that Safari auto opens "safe" documents on disk images if there's only one file.
