Can anyone tell me the trick to make a pmdoc (either Distribution or Metapackage) with PM3 that just rolls up the built subpackages in a packages directory?

Chris: I've a better suggestion. I had goals nearly identical to yours and after two days of unsuccessfully getting PM to package up my three pre-built packages in a manner that seemed reasonable and logical, I gave Stéphane Sudre's Icberg: http://s.sudre.free.fr/Software/Iceberg.html a try and completed the goal in five minutes. Heartily recommended. As always, YMMV; however, if PM is causing bald spots on your pate, give Iceberg a look.
