I would suggest filing a bug report (enhancement request?) because other tools support this.

Been working for a while with PackageMaker and -imho- it really sucks. Cant uninstall, cant reference packages from sub-choices, cant make a package install if "choice OR choice" selected, packages cant send usefull args to scripts, lot of crashes, buggy RAW mode... A 100% shame-on-you-Apple tool. Using Xcode 321.
