I'm installing a folder and subsequent app into /Applications. I do ask for admin authentication. Not root. Are you referring to the folders and files on the that make up the various packages of the meta-package? If so, I'll check the permissions on these and let you know. No, I was just referring to the permissions on the /Applications folder in your pax archive. I've seen installations failed because the permissions were not root:admin 775 on this folder. I've gone through several permissions checks for files/directories that are put into the smaller packages. For things that go into /Applications, I flagged them as root:admin 775 before making the package. Is it possible that the permissions need to be applied after the packages have been created?
